Appalachian Citizens’ Law Center (ACLC), is a small nonprofit law center based in Whitesburg, KY. ACLC provides free legal services to coal miners and their families on issues of black lung and mine safety and works with community groups and individuals to protect the land and people of Central Appalachia from environmental injustice.
